Community Service
In alignment to SVA’s mission statement, we believe in serving the community. This may be the community that we live in, the church that we attend, or a faraway community that is in need of assistance. Being a part and helping our community is a mandate of our belief in Jesus. Jesus is the example of service to others. It is the school’s expectation that all SVA students will participate in school-wide community service days, in opportunities arranged by SVA, and in service outside school hours. As a graduation requirement from Sandia View Academy, students are required to complete 25 community service hours each year.
This year, our students will be going on a mission trip to Puerto Rico. They will participate in nightly evangelistic meetings and children programs. Each student needs to raise $1650, so please consider making a donation today.
