Graduation Requirements

Graduation Requirements

It is the student’s responsibility to take the courses necessary for graduation. To receive a general diploma, a student must satisfactory complete 25 credits which must include the following.

→ Religion – 4 credits

→ English – 4 credits

→ Social Studies – 3 credits

→ Mathematics – 3 credits

→ Science – 3 credits

→ Computer Science – 1 credit

→ Life Skills – 0.5 credits

→ Physical Education – 2 credits

→ Fine Arts – 0.5 credits

→ Health – 0.5 credits

→ Communication/Business Skills – 1 credit

→ Student Choice Elective – 2.5 credits

The student must also have at least 1.0 grade point average and satisfactory deportment. No more than two credits of fine arts and two credits of P.E. may apply towards the 25 credits required for graduation.

It is the student’s responsibility to take the courses necessary for graduation. To receive a academic diploma, a student must satisfactory complete 27 credits which must include the following.

→ Religion – 4 credits

→ English – 4 credits

→ Social Studies – 4 credits

→ Mathematics – 3 credits

→ Science – 3 credits

→ Computer Science – 1 credit

→ Life Skills – 0.5 credits

→ Physical Education – 2 credits

→ Fine Arts – 1 credit

→ Health – 0.5 credits

→ Communication/Business Skills – 1 credit

→ Student Choice Elective – 1 credit

→ Foreign Language (all of the same language) – 2 credits

The student must have maintained a minimum, cumulative, 2.0 grade point average and satisfactory citizenship grade. No more than two credits for fine arts and two credits of P.E. may apply towards the 27 credits required for graduation.

→ Life Skills – 0.5 credits

→ Physical Education – 2 credits

→ Fine Arts – 1.5 credit

→ Health – 0.5 credits

→ Communication/Business Skills – 1 credit

→ Student Choice Elective – 0.5 credit

→ Foreign Language (all of the same language) – 2/3 credits
